TINA among winners announced for 65th Annual Drama Desk Awards

Winners for this year's **Drama Desk Awards 2020** have been announced with a number of original UK shows winning big during the virtually-held ceremony.
**Matthew Lopez**'s epic two-parter, [***The Inheritance***](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/play/3180/the-inheritance-part-1-tickets.aspx), took home five awards, including the award for Outstanding Play, after the show enjoyed phenomenal success in London at the Young Vic and [**Noel Coward**](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/venue/108/noel-coward-theatre.aspx) theatres.
Meanwhile, **Adrienne Warren** was awarded Outstanding Actress in a Musical for her portrayal as [**Tina Turner**](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/musical/2589/tina-the-tina-turner-musical-tickets.aspx), a role she originated at the [**West End's Aldwych Theatre**](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/venue/18/aldwych-theatre.aspx) before crossing the pond to reprise her role for the Broadway transfer production.
