The show dives deep into her remarkable journey, exploring her passion for social justice, her battles within a turbulent music industry, and her triumphs over personal challenges. With powerful storytelling and raw honesty, it reveals the woman behind the voice - resilient, driven, and endlessly inspiring.
Audiences will be taken on a musical journey through Chaka Khan’s greatest hits, both as a solo artist and with the band Rufus, including Ain’t Nobody, I Feel For You, Sweet Thing, and Tell Me Something Good. Along the way, the show shines a light on her relationships, struggles, and musical collaborations with legends like Prince, Joni Mitchell, and Stevie Wonder. Bold, brilliant, and deeply human, this is more than a musical - it’s a tribute to a true original.
Alexandra Burke will not be playing the role of Chaka Khan on Thursday evenings, Saturday matinees, 22 & 23 July, 1 August.

West-End-Star und Multi-Platin-Künstlerin Alexandra Burke wird die Rolle der Chaka Khan in der Uraufführung von I'm Every Woman: The Chaka Khan Musical übernehmen, die für eine streng begrenzte vierwöchige Saison vom 5. bis 28. März 2026 im Peacock Theatre in London zu sehen ist.
Alexandra sagte: "Vor fast 17 Jahren, mit meiner verstorbenen Mutter an meiner Seite, sang ich Chaka Khan bei meinem allerersten nicht im Fernsehen übertragenen Vorsprechen für The X Factor. Zu denken, dass ich die Gelegenheit bekäme, sie im West End zu spielen, übertrifft meine kühnsten Träume. Danke, Mama, für deine Liebe und Führung – ich werde bei jeder Show zu dir aufschauen."
