Joué au *Six'*s Vaudeville Theatre, Austentatious est une comédie improvisée renommée qui donne vie à un tout nouveau roman, inspiré de Jane Austen, issu des reines et rois de l'improvisation. Fondé à Londres en 2011, l’ensemble a captivé le public par son esprit vif et ses interprétations fidèles à l’époque, le tout basé sur des titres suggérés par le public. Leur mélange unique d’hommage littéraire et d’humour spontané en a fait un incontournable dans le West End et au-delà.

Amy Cooke-Hodgson
La carrière diversifiée d’Amy s’étend à la télévision, au cinéma et au théâtre. Elle est apparue dans la série primée Little Boy Blue d’ITV, Gangsta Granny Strikes Again de David Walliams, et Andy and the Band sur CBBC. Formée au théâtre musical, Amy a mis en avant ses mezzo-belters dans des productions telles que Jubilee de Cole Porter et Girlfriends de Howard Goodall. Elle a également tourné avec Showstopper ! La comédie musicale improvisée et jouée dans l’opéra primé aux Olivier La Bohème.
Cariad Lloyd
Acteur, écrivain, humoriste et podcasteur primé, Cariad possède un répertoire impressionnant. Elle a joué aux côtés de Sara Pascoe dans Out of Her Mind de la BBC, et est apparue dans des séries telles qu’Alan Partridge, Inside Number 9 et Toast of London. Cariad est également connue pour ses apparitions dans des émissions de panel telles que Have I Got News For You, QI et 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Charlotte Gittins
Charlotte est actrice, réalisatrice de documentaires et écrivaine lauréate d’un BAFTA Rocliffe. Improvisatrice chevronnée et diplômée de la Central School of Speech & Drama, elle fait partie du duo acclamé par la critique Folie à Deux, et est membre des groupes d’improvisation Grand Theft Impro, JCB et Anxiety Club.
Daniel Nils Roberts
Daniel est humoriste, improvisateur et cinéaste. Ses spectacles solo ont reçu des critiques élogieuses au Fringe d’Édimbourg, The History of the World in 1 Hour étant mis en avant comme l’un des meilleurs spectacles comiques des critiques du Scotsman. Il a co-créé le podcast Come Into My Kitchen, nommé pour la meilleure comédie aux British Podcast Awards, et a reçu des distinctions aux Webby et Broadcast Digital Awards pour ses courts documentaires.
Graham Dickson
Graham trained in New York and London and is the co-founder and Artistic Director of The Free Association, a leading London improv theatre and school. He has written and performed three solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and co-created the series Down From London. His acting credits include the film All My Friends Hate Me and TV shows such as Afterlife, Witchfinder, PLS Like, and Borderline.
Joseph Morpurgo
Joseph was nominated for a Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award for his solo show Soothing Sounds for Baby. His other solo performances have received widespread critical acclaim. Joseph has had his own series on Radio 4, Joseph Morpurgo’s Walking Tour, and appeared in the BAFTA-nominated Harry & Paul’s Story Of The Twos and Drunk History. He has also collaborated with production companies like Warp Films, Baby Cow, and Aardman.
Lauren Shearing
Lauren is an actor and improviser who trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. She has performed sketch comedy, stand-up, and improvisation both internationally and across the UK. Like Amy Cooke-Hodgson, Lauren was also a cast member of the Olivier Award-winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. She has also performed as a guest actor with the renowned Comedy Store Players, and part of improv groups Breaking & Entering and Anxiety Club.
Rachel Parris
Rachel is a BAFTA-nominated comedian, best known for her viral segments on The Mash Report, which have amassed over 100 million views. She has appeared on Live At The Apollo, Mock the Week, QI, and Would I Lie To You?. Rachel is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4 shows like The Now Show, The News Quiz, and I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue. As a touring comic, she performs musical comedy and stand-up throughout the UK and frequently guests with the Comedy Store Players. She also has a hit podcast, How Was It For You? with fellow stand-up (and husband) Marcus Brigstocke.
