What is Yesterday about?

Yesterday follows Jack Malik, a struggling singer-songwriter whose dreams of musical stardom seem permanently out of reach. But after a freak accident, Jack wakes up to discover he’s living in a world where The Beatles never existed — and he’s the only person who remembers their legendary songs. Suddenly armed with the greatest back catalogue in music history, Jack seizes his chance to become a global sensation by passing off The Beatles’ timeless hits as his own.

As fame, fortune and sold-out shows come his way, Jack soon discovers that becoming a superstar comes with a few unexpected complications.
