Welcome to the Glitz of the Blitz; where showgirls, secrets and scandal abound.
The Hippodrome Casino is one of London’s most iconic entertainment destinations, blending gaming, live performance, dining, and nightlife under one historic roof. Located in the heart of Leicester Square, this vibrant venue is open 24/7 and offers everything from poker and roulette to cabaret shows and fine dining. Whether you're there for a flutter, a show, or a cocktail with a view, the Hippodrome delivers a uniquely glamorous and immersive experience.
Famous for its opulent interiors and star-studded history, the Hippodrome Casino is a must-visit venue for locals and tourists alike.
Originally opened in 1900 as a variety theatre, the Hippodrome was designed by renowned architect Frank Matcham. In its early days, it hosted circus acts (including live animals), musical performances, and lavish revues. Over the decades, the venue transformed into a nightclub, a cabaret hall, and later a theatre, attracting legends like Charlie Chaplin, Judy Garland, and Shirley Bassey.
In 2012, the building was spectacularly renovated and reopened as The Hippodrome Casino, preserving its historic features while modernising the space. Today, it spans five floors and offers everything from state-of-the-art gaming to the Magic Mike Live show, making it one of the most dynamic entertainment venues in London.
