The Piccadilly Theatre opened in 1928 with a production of Blue Eyes by Jerome Kern and Guy Bolton. Built in just seven months, the theatre was designed by Bertie Crewe and Edward A. Stone, and originally featured both theatrical productions and cinema screenings, including some of the earliest sound films.
Over the years, it has hosted everything from ballet and cabaret to long-running West End hits like Grease, Guys and Dolls, and Ghost: The Musical. A major refurbishment in recent years has enhanced its facilities while preserving its striking Art Deco interior.
The Piccadilly Theatre is located on Denman Street, just off Piccadilly Circus. It’s surrounded by some of London’s best restaurants, nightlife, and shopping - perfect for a full evening out in the West End.
The closest tube station is Piccadilly Circus (Bakerloo and Piccadilly Lines), just a 2-minute walk from the theatre. Simply exit onto Shaftesbury Avenue, turn onto Denman Street, and the theatre is on your left.
