From 26 July - 12 August 2012, the Criterion Theatre will present Playing The Games, a programme of work which will celebrate both artistic and sporting talent featuring emerging and established actors, comedians, musicians, playwrights and Olympians. Mark Rylance will return to the Apollo Theatre to play the title role in Richard III and Olivia in Twelfth Night when Tim Carroll’s Shakespeare’s Globe productions transfer to the West End later this year. Joining Rylance will be Stephen Fry as Malvolio in Twelfth Night and Samuel Barnett and Johnny Flynn. Tickets for the 13 week run at the Apollo Theatre go on sale today (27 February 2012). Further casting will be announced shortly.
